Former AC City Council President Charged in Voter Fraud Scheme

The general narrative these days is that our elections are as safeguarded as they can be. 

Yet, again, we have a case where an elected official was playing games with a local election.  

This time it is former Atlantic City, NJ, Council President Craig Callaway.  

More Election Corruption 

To be clear, I have never believed there was enough corruption in an election to sway a general election, but I firmly believe there was more than enough to cause problems in state and city elections.  

We have seen this situation play out time and again, with a case hitting last year where a Philadelphia candidate had only about a dozen illegal votes in a previous election, but it was enough to sway the election.  

About 90 minutes outside of Philadelphia, they had the same problem with Callaway, who was apparently paying voters to pull the handle.  

According to the report, Callaway and some of his subordinates were offering people anywhere from $30 to $50 to Atlantic City residents to act as authorized messengers.  

They would then request mail-in ballots on behalf of individuals they had never met.  

Those individuals were, of course, not aware those votes were being cast on their behalf.  

U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger stated, “Holding free and fair elections is a bedrock principle of our democracy. 

“As alleged in the complaint, the defendant attempted to deprive New Jersey residents of a fair election by fraudulently procuring and casting ballots.  

“Today’s charges reflect our office’s commitment to hold to account those who try to undermine the electoral process.” 

As I have stated in other reports, with the technology that we have available today, there is simply no way any level of election fraud should be tolerated in this country.  

Democrats refused to admit anything was wrong with the 2020 election for fear of undermining Joe Biden’s win.  

Our elected officials need to stop justifying and/or ignoring the corruption that exists when it benefits their party. 

Look at how Democrats acted after the 2016 election, then how they completely switched their attitude in 2020 because they won.  

Just admit the fraud exists, and eliminate it, regardless of the level of it, so we can end this nonsense once and for all.
