FL Dem Arrested on Child Porn Charges

Yet again, we have another politician being arrested for an absolutely disgusting crime.

This time, it was Florida Democrat Party official Matthew Inman, 39.

The Orlando resident has been arrested for having sent child porn to an undercover cop.

Got Him

According to local reports, the Florida Democrat had videos of children being abused on his phone as well as being interested in meeting up with a “fake” 9-year-old boy, the personality the undercover agents were using to lure in Inman.

Inman had been serving as Orange County’s Democratic Party treasurer and the president of Rainbow Democrats.

According to the website of Rainbow Democrats, the organization looks to “foster goodwill between lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and allied members of the Democratic Party and the community at large.”

The US Attorney’s office stated that Inman had received and saved numerous videos featuring the sexual abuse of children over a three-month span last year.

He had also started to chat online with an undercover cop that was posing as a 9-year-old boy.

Local authorities stated, “During this conversation, Inman expressed interest in meeting and sexually assaulting the purported child. He also sent [Child Sexual Abuse Material] videos to the undercover officer.”

When authorities showed up at Inman’s house to arrest him, he tried to delete the videos and hid in the attic of the home.

After his arrest, the Orange County Democratic Party stated, “We are deeply appalled and horrified by the news that Matthew Inman has been arrested on charges of sexual abuse involving a minor.

“We unequivocally condemn child sexual abuse in the strongest possible terms and hope that any victims involved receive the support and resources they need moving forward.”

Rainbow Democrats also issued a statement, which read, “We offer our condolences to any victims of child sexual abuse and hope justice will be served to the fullest extent of the law.”

The organization has suspended Inman from the group.

If Inman is convicted, he stands to do at least five years in prison, with a maximum sentence of 20 years, so here is hoping they throw the book at this monster.
