PA Senate candidate John Fetterman likes to pretend he is tough on crime.
In reality, Fetterman would love to empty out prisons because he believes there are a lot of good people in there that deserve a second chance.
He says this as a Lt. Governor of a state with its major city imploding due to violent crime.
The Video
Video does not lie, and that is what Fetterman will have to face down.
With John Fetterman as Lt. Governor, leading the board in PA that presents pardons to Governor Wolf, the state has freed nearly 20 percent of its prison population over 18 months ending in October 2021 due to COVID.
Coincidentally (wink, wink), this is also the timeframe that violent crime in cities like Philadelphia has raged.
Yet, this was Fetterman when talking about opening up the cells…
Fetterman’s Board of Pardons has recommended 46 commutations to Governor Wolf, eight times the number approved by Wolf prior to Fetterman leading this charge.
The prior governor had commuted one sentence.
The governor before that, Democrat Ed Rendell, had approved five commuted sentences in his eight years in office.
If Mehmet Oz had any sense, videos like these in ads are all he needs to end Fetterman.
He needs to ask PA voters one question… do you want to be safe walking down the street or not?
Consider this… one of the individuals on the Fetterman’s board is Celeste Trusty.
She has called Mumia Abu Jamaal her “buddy.”
For those of you that do not know, Abu Jamaal is a former Black Panther and supporter of the MOVE organization in Philadelphia.
He shot Police Officer Daniel Faulkner at 3:55 a.m. at 13th and Locust Street in downtown Philadelphia, shooting him in the back and face, with Faulkner being pronounced dead at the scene.
He should have been put to death years ago, but his endless appeals wore down the state and he is now sentenced to life in prison without parole.
That is the real John Fetterman and his cronies… and this man cannot be permitted to take office.
