Fetterman Calls on Biden to Stand Up to ‘Fringe’ Members of Party

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) is on the outside looking in regarding the Democrat stance on Israel.

While there is a contingent of Dems who are openly supporting Palestine and by default, Hamas, there are even more calling for Biden to put conditions on Israel regarding its war with Hamas in order to continue to see aid from the United States.

From the very start, Senator Fetterman has been doing the complete opposite, supporting Israel and calling out his fellow Democrats for doing anything but that.

Ignore Them

Fetterman dropped in on Jake Tapper this weekend appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Tapper has asked Fetterman if he supported the Democrat narrative that Israel should not conduct an offensive against Iran.

Fetterman responded, “I don’t agree with that, I just think we should follow and have Israel’s back in the situation. I don’t agree with the president.

“That doesn’t change anything that he’s a fantastic president. I’m proud to stand with him and campaign for him and vote for him.”

Tapper also addressed the leak regarding Biden telling Netanyahu that the United States would not support an offensive and that Netanyahu should just be happy with the “win” against the Iranian assault that saw more than 300 missiles and drones attack Israel.

Fetterman remained defiant, stating, “The president is entitled to his own views and whatever he decides to do. But I would never capitulate to the fringe. I’ll never pander to that as well.

“In fact, that empowers Hamas and Hamas, they’re actually convinced they’re winning the PR war. And they’re never going to negotiate at this point. They think that they’re going to hold onto the very end.”

Fetterman also questioned why nobody is demanding “proof of life” for the remaining hostages, which many believe have already been killed by Hamas.

Unlike his fellow Democrats, Fetterman also stated that the criticism should be directed at Hamas for this war, not Israel, as it was Hamas that broke the cease-fire on October 7.

I am curious to see how this will impact Fetterman when his seat comes up for re-election.

He was a media and Democrat darling when he ran for election against Dr. Oz, a Trump-backed candidate, but I don’t see that being the case after his open criticism of Democrats regarding Israel.
