Fences Erected Outside White House and Naval Observatory Before Election

Walls don’t work… that is unless you need them to protect a Democrat.

To that point, it is now being reported that fences are going up around the White House and Naval Observatory, which is where Harris lives.

The fences are part of a beefing up of security with the entire nation sitting on edge due to the election.

Lock It Down

This has been one of the most contentious lead-ins to an election that I can ever remember.

The 2016 election was bad, but it pales in comparison to the mud that has been slung by both sides in the 2024 election.

Democrats, at least in my opinion, outdid Trump on the rhetoric this time around, insisting that Donald Trump is a threat to Democracy, a sexist, a racist, and just about every other ist word you can imagine.

Of course, there is also the Nazi angle, as Democrats have really been driving that one home, even comparing Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally to the 1939 Nazi rally.

I have been firm that I don’t care who wins, with all the rhetoric to get voters whipped up, we are likely to have rioting regardless of who wins, but I think it will be far worse if Trump wins.

Clearly the Secret Service is thinking along the lines, even if they don’t outright admit it.

Alexi Worley, a spokesperson for the Secret Service tried to downplay the fences going up, stating, “These enhancements are not in response to any specific issue but are part of wide-ranging public safety preparations for Tuesday’s election.”

Barriers are also being put in place in Florida at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, which is the location of Trump’s election night party.

This was not the norm before 2020, when the country was literally set on fire during the George Floyd rioting.

With several key states having already announced that results are not likely on election day, the real aftermath of this may not come into play until the weekend.

Once we have a winner announced, the powder keg is likely to blow, especially if you live in a major city, so please, be careful.
