Feed from Trump Spokesperson Cut Off During CNN Interview

Oh, the media does not like it when you call them out on live TV.

Trump national press secretary Karoline Leavitt found that out the hard way during a recent interview on CNN.

As Leavitt hammered CNN’s debate moderators, the host cut the feed rather than listen to her rant.

Cut It

Leavitt pulled no punches when she was on the air, immediately attacking the debate moderators, specifically Jake Tapper.

CNN’s Kasie Hunt immediately went on the defensive, stating, “You come on my show, you respect my colleagues. Period.

“I don’t care what side of the aisle you stand on, as my track record clearly shows.”

As Leavitt tried to come back, Hunt cut her off…

Hunt tried some bravado on X, bragging about how she cut Leavitt down, but that did not go over too well, as people were blasting her because everything that Leavitt said was actually true.

Then the Trump campaign hit back, with Leavitt telling Fox News, "CNN cutting off my microphone for bringing up a debate moderator’s history of anti-Trump lies just proves our point that President Trump will not be treated fairly in Thursday’s debate.

“Yet President Trump is still willing to go into this 3-1 fight to bring his winning message to the American people, and he will win.”

She added, "That’s why President Trump is knowingly going into a hostile environment on this very network, on CNN, with debate moderators who have made their opinions about him very well known over the past eight years. And their biased coverage of him.”’

To be honest, Tapper is fair game now after being at the center of a defamation suit against CNN.

Tapper aired a report about one of the contractors involved in the Afghanistan withdrawal and now the network is being sued for the tainted reporting, and that is far from the first time that Tapper has aired a tainted report or unfairly attacked Trump.

All I can say is this debate is going to be fun!
