Feds bust massive human trafficking ring

Now that our federal agencies are doing what they are supposed to be doing, it is rather amazing to see the arrests that are being reported.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the FBI had arrested a Cartel kingpin.

Now we are being told the feds have also busted a huge human trafficking ring.

Got ‘Em!

On Friday, it was announced that the feds had taken two Guatemalan men into custody.

They were picked up in Los Angeles near the downtown area, having reportedly moved more than 20,000 illegal immigrants into the United States since 2019.

Eduardo Domingo Renoj-Matul and Cristobal Mejia-Chaj are currently being held without bond, and could possibly face the death penalty if convicted.

Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph McNally stated, "These smuggling organizations have no regard for human life and their conduct kills.

"The indictment and arrests here have dismantled one of the country’s largest and most dangerous smuggling organizations. This work saves lives, and the members of the organization will now face significant consequences."

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Los Angeles Acting Special Agent in Charge John Pasciucco added, "Every day, similar human smuggling organizations put profits ahead of the safety in these reckless and illegal endeavors.

"HSI Los Angeles and our partners are committed to continue identifying and dismantling these organizations, so no further lives are lost, and our borders are secure."

According to prosecutors, the ring was charging between $15,000 and $18000 per person to bring them to the United States.

Once they were across the border, the ring leaders would rack up additional charges for the migrants by charging them additional fees for transportation to different parts of the country.

When some of the migrants were unable to pay the fees, they were allegedly held hostage in a stash house in Los Angeles, which is where the two men were reportedly arrested.

To think this operation got started right before Trump left office, and has been going on the entire time that Biden was in office, and nothing was done.

Could that possibly have been because Biden had the feds focusing on DEI and going after his political enemies rather than doing their jobs?

I don’t want to make allegations, but I find it rather ironic that only two months into his term, Trump’s DOJ has already knocked back two major arrests related to the problems at the border, so you can draw your own conclusions.
