There are a few Democrats whom Republicans are willing to tolerate, but one of them often stands above the rest when it comes to implementing common sense principles and not ruining this country in the ways that most of America's liberals are trying to do:
Joe Manchin.
So is it any surprise that he's one of the Democrats who is most despised by his own party?
They really don't want Manchin in their ranks anymore and have been making quite an effort to try to make everything that the senator does more difficult.
The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals proved this true again recently:
According to JustTheNews.com, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals "issued a stay to halt construction on a three-mile portion of the Mountain Valley Pipeline set to run through federal land, delivering a major blow to West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin, who has repeatedly labored to secure the project's completion."
This pipeline has been a dream of Manchin's for a while now, so I would imagine that the man is absolutely gutted to have it not work out.
Apparently, Manchin made some concessions last year when making a deal with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer over Joe Biden's "Inflation Reduction Act," which sent inflation to record-high levels.
In return for making those concessions and allowing Biden to continue to be completely irresponsible with taxpayer dollars, Manchin was hoping for a little help on this pipeline project.
He's been stabbed in the back, because Democrats are refusing to help him now.
The law passed by Congress & signed by POTUS is clear - the 4th Circuit no longer has jurisdiction over MVP’s construction permits. This new order halting construction is unlawful, & regardless of your position on MVP, it should alarm every American when a court ignores the law.
