I can, with relative confidence, say that Craig Deleeuw Robertson had a death wish.
Robertson had been making death threats against Joe Biden online, so he was paid a visit by FBI agents, reported the Washington Examiner.
That early morning visit turned into a shootout, and Robertson did not fair very well.
Early Morning Raid
With a Wednesday trip scheduled for Utah, the FBI took action on an online threat posted by Robertson.
He allegedly wrote, "I hear Biden is coming to Utah. Digging out my old ghille [sic] suit and cleaning the dust off the m24 sniper rifle. welcom, [sic] buffoon-in-chief!"
When the FBI showed up to serve the warrant at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, as Robertson had threatened, he was apparently ready for the agents to enter.
An official told Fox News that Robertson did have a gun when the FBI attempted to raid the home.
The FBI responded, "The FBI is reviewing an agent-involved shooting which occurred around 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in Provo, Utah.
"The incident began when special agents attempted to serve arrest and search warrants at a residence. The subject is deceased.
"The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously. In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under review by the FBI's Inspection Division. As this is an ongoing matter, we have no further details to provide."
In addition to threatening to kill Biden, Robertson had also threatened Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.
He allegedly wrote, "I'll be waiting in the courthouse parking garage with my suppressed Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm to smoke a radical fool prosecutor that should never have been elected.
"I want to stand over Bragg and put a nice hole in his forehead with my 9mm and watch him twitch as a drop of blood oozes from the hole as his life ebbs away to hell!"
The charging document stated, "When I advised ROBERTSON that we would like to speak with him regarding a comment he had posted on Company-1's social media platform, ROBERTSON stated, 'I said it was a dream!' ROBERTSON then said, 'We're done here! Don't return without a warrant!'"
Well, they did, and now Robertson is dead.
Agents stated that while observing Robertson, he was wearing a Trump hat, so get ready for that narrative to explode all over the internet.
