FBI Raids Home of NYC Mayor Fundraiser

Well, we have a little more drama playing out with the FBI

This time, however, it is with a Democrat home that was raided.

The primary fundraiser for New York Mayor Eric Adams, Brianna Suggs, had her home raided by the FBI on Thursday.

What’s Going On

According to Mayor Adams, his campaign was run on the up and up, and he says he will cooperate fully with any FBI investigation.

Suggs was one of Adams’ top fundraisers, so you can see why everyone is on edge over this in the Democrat Party.

Adams is a rising star in the party, so Democrats surely do not want to see his image tarnished in any way.

Vito Pitta, Adams 2021 campaign counsel stated, "The campaign has always held itself to the highest standards. The campaign will of course comply with any inquiries, as appropriate."

Just prior to the raid hitting the news wire, Adams had posted, "On my way to D.C. to join my fellow mayors to talk with our federal partners about the asylum seeker crisis.

"We are headed to D.C. to meet with our Congressional delegation and the White House to address this real issue of the asylum and migrant issue in our city and we will keep you updated as the day goes.”

When Adams found out about the raid, he decided to turn the plane around, with his office stating, "The mayor returned to New York City to address a matter.

"These meetings will be rescheduled as soon as possible.”

Adams has paid Suggs close to $100,000, according to financial disclosures, and there were no whispers of any impropriety before this raid took place.

Adams has lived a high and mighty life since taking office, so I am sure he is concerned about what exactly the FBI was looking for here.

We will keep monitoring this situation and update as needed if any major scandal breaks from this.
