FBI Raids Home of Former Trump Adviser

The hits just keep coming for anyone and everyone associated with Donald Trump.

A report broke this weekend that the home of Dimitri Simes, a former Trump adviser on policy, was raided by the FBI.

Simes name came up on the Mueller report more than 100 times.

Here We Go Again

Simes was clearly someone who was looked at by the FBI during the Russian collusion investigation.

Simes, who was born in Russia, was in the Mueller report roughly 130 times, but his name has never been mentioned in terms of any criminal activity.

He believes he is being targeted by the Biden administration over Biden’s relationship with Ukraine.

He stated, “My suspicion is that instead of trying to get me to come to the United States and to interrogate me — or even to arrest me — their real purpose is to make sure that I would not come back.”

His blistering of Biden continued, adding, “A number of prominent Americans were subjected to searches or even put in jail, or made bankrupt.

“So, this is the way American law enforcement is working today?

“If somebody goes against the political mainstream, in particular against the Biden administration, the punishment may be very swift.”

Simes moved to the United States in 1970 and was a policy adviser for former President Richard Nixon.

He also worked for the Center for the National Interest for about 30 years.

Simes joined the Trump campaign in 2016 as a foreign policy adviser, including helping Trump dictate policy on how the United States and Russia could improve their relationship.

While Simes and the Center for the National Interest were mentioned in the Mueller report, Simes was cleared of any wrongdoing, as was the Center.

When the FBI was contacted for information related to the Simes raid, it stated, “The FBI conducted court-authorized law enforcement activity. We have no further comment as this is an ongoing matter.”

Just more cloak and dagger from the most transparent administration in history.
