Retired FBI executive Scott Nelson has only one word for the manner in which Hunter Biden's tax and gun violations were handled.
"Ludicrous."
I'd argue that's all he needed.
Hunter Biden avoided paying his taxes, and if any other American did that, you know what would happen to them.
Hunter Biden lied when attempting to purchase a gun. Do you know what would happen if it was established that an average American did that?
Consequences a great deal worse than the ones Hunter Biden is poised to receive would have followed, that's for sure.
Nelson just can't believe that America's top investigators spent FIVE YEARS building a case against Hunter Biden only to have Joe's son walk away free.
"The Department of Justice, in my humble view, and in the view of many others, they're slow walking," he said, adding:
They undercharged that to a point of it being almost ludicrous.
Instead of going to jail on the felonies for which he was charged, Hunter Biden was allowed to walk free if "he would admit to two misdemeanor tax charges and a felony gun charge that could later be dismissed."
How often do ordinary Americans just get their felonies "dismissed" for no reason?
As if you needed any more proof that the Justice Department is working for Joe Biden and not for America, they've recommended that Hunter Biden only receive probation.
Hunter Biden "is expected to go before U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika on July 26 in Wilmington, Del., to formally agree to the plea agreement," according to JustTheNews.com.
Nelson is furious that America's justice system took one of the biggest charges in recent American history and turned it into a "nothing burger."
"I also understand that prosecution of him was downgraded to the point, I mean, I hate this word, but it's called a 'nothing burger.' And it became a nothing burger. Not only did he avoid paying taxes on a lot of money, but he avoided jail time for a gun-related charge that under any other conditions would have been prosecuted much more severely," he added.
