There is no lower form of life than someone taking advantage of their authority position to abuse a child.
Sadly, that is the case of an FBI employee charged with multiple counts of assault against a minor and numerous misdemeanor charges.
In all, FBI employee Robert Smith is being charged with 10 counts related to the sexual assault of multiple minors.
They Just Cried
The charges stem from a report that a young girl told her mother that Smith touched her sexually on multiple occasions.
After the girl came forward, the woman asked her other daughters.
When the question came out of her mouth, every one of them started to cry.
Smith is now being charged with four counts of aggravated sex abuse of a child, four misdemeanor counts of lewdness involving a child, and two misdemeanor counts of lewdness.
If convicted, Smith, who is 65, could face a sentence as little as five years to as much as life in prison.
If found guilty, let’s hope for the latter.
This is yet another stain against the FBI, which had an agent charged with a similar crime only six months ago.
