Far-left Activists Express Frustration of Senator Fetterman’s Support of Israel
For all of his faults and quirky behavior, Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has done the right thing during the Israel-Hamas war by unapologetically supporting Israel.
Fetterman has even confronted pro-Palestinian supporters near the Capitol, mocking them with an Israel flag as he passed by.
That behavior is now drawing the ire of far-left activists, who are calling out the first-term PA senator for his actions.
Change of Heart
The irony in all of this is that Fetterman is doing the same thing he did to his opponent during the election and the very same thing he has done to Republicans and conservatives since taking office.
However, now that he has turned his unique trolling style against far-left activists, they no longer find it so amusing.
Beth Miller, political director of the far-left group Jewish Voice for Peace Action, was particularly perturbed by Fetterman’s approach to the anti-war activists.
Miller stated, "I am still a bit shocked by the level of disdain that he has been giving to a growing anti-war movement."
Matt Howard, board member of an anti-war veterans group, added, "I honestly felt frustrated.
"If he disagreed with them, that’s one thing. It didn’t totally make sense to me that he would resort to mocking folks."
Others accused Fetterman of being bought off, suggesting that his stance was only to serve the people who stuffed his campaign chest.
The individual stated, "He took a good amount of money from DMFI. Those are all organizations that are opposing a political solution right now, and I think that speaks volumes."
Fetterman has proven during his time in office that he is more interested in generating a social media buzz rather than legislating.
This was fully supported by Democrats, who have openly supported Fetterman’s style, so I cannot help but sit back and laugh that his trolling ways are now upsetting what has become a key base for the Democrat Party.
