Fani Willis’ Prosecutor Boyfriend Hit with Contempt Charges in Divorce Case

The drama regarding Fani Willis and her former/current boyfriend, Nathan Wade, continues.

Wade was recently kicked off the case after Judge McAfee gave Willis the choice of recusing herself from the case or having Wade removed.

Now Wade is back in the news after a new divorce filing by his estranged wife.

More Problems

Joycelyn Wade made the filing on Wednesday, claiming that Nathan Wade has not paid court-ordered expenses.

She maintains that his failure to meet his court-mandated obligations has resulted in “worsening” her health and necessitates “emergency intervention.”

The filing stated, "Defendant urgently requires medical procedures, namely an endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ultrasound, due to severe physical symptoms she has been enduring.

“These symptoms have significantly impacted her ability to consume most foods, leading to a substantial weight loss, notwithstanding her already slender stature when in better health.”

According to his estranged wife, Wade gave her an “assurance of reimbursement” for her healthcare, but he has failed to hold up to that promise.

She further stated that Wade has not been making agreed-upon payments for their children’s expenses.

He is, in essence, a deadbeat dad.

The filing stated, "On the day immediately following the entry of the Order on January 30, 2024, Plaintiff informed the parties' daughter, an upperclassman in college with hopes of entering medical school in the near future, that he would discontinue payment of her rent and living expenses instructing her to ‘get the money from your mother.'

"As an additional note, Plaintiff has very punitively reneged on his commitment to cover their daughter's MCAT expenses as well.

"The parties' son is currently in Europe, pursuing a career as a professional soccer player. Despite Plaintiff executing a verified affidavit to the country of Spain, affirming financial responsibility for his son's expenses for visa purposes, he subsequently informed his son shortly after the Temporary Order was entered that he would no longer be providing support for him either, directing the son to ‘get the money from your mother.'”

Donald Trump and his co-defendants tried to have the case dismissed based on the relationship between Wade and Willis.

When that failed, they tried to have Willis removed, citing that she had hired Wade to do her dirty work on the case, insinuating that Wade was given an outcome and told to craft the prosecution to justify it.

It did not help Willis or Wade that Wade was being paid far more as a prosecutor than a specialist in RICO who was brought aboard by Willis.

Wade, as noted above, resigned from his post after McAfee gave the ultimatum to Willis.
