Executive from voting machine firm indicted for bribery

I'm not going to say that EVERYTHING that Donald Trump claimed about the fraud of the 2020 presidential election was true, but liberals have been maintaining for years that it's IMPOSSIBLE that there were ANY irregularities in the election that their guy won.

It took a few years, but we now have numerous examples of egregious election violations, yet liberals continue to ignore the possibility that anything like that could have happened in 2020.

A federal grand jury has officially indicted executives of the voting machine company Smartmatic.

In addition to those arrests, the Philippines' former top elections official has also been indicted for participating in an "alleged bribery and money laundering scheme."

Smartmatic is currently in a lawsuit against conservative media outlets for the way they covered possible fraud in the time after the 2020 presidential election.

No wonder Roger Pinate and Jorge Vasquez weren't happy about the way their voting machines were being scrutinized

They realized that the conservative media was getting too close to the truth.

If Smartmatic was able to put aside all morals in the Philippines, what makes you think that they were conducting more honest business here in America?

According to The Federalist:

Roger Piñate and Jorge Vasquez are accused of taking part in a scheme that involved laundering money and paying $1 million in bribes to Juan Andres Bautista, former chair of the Philippines Commission on Elections, from 2015 to 2018, according to a Department of Justice press release.

Smartmatic has already responded to the indictment:

"While our accused employees remain innocent until proven guilty, we have placed both employees on leaves of absence, effective immediately," the company said, adding:

No voter fraud has been alleged and Smartmatic is not indicted.

Voter fraud hasn't been alleged in this case, but very serious OTHER crimes have.

Smartmatic participating in these crimes would seem to indicate that altering the results of an election is definitely not beneath them.
