Ex-NFL Star Antonio Brown Arrested Over Unpaid Child Support

Former NFL star Antonio Brown was arrested in Florida on Sunday for reportedly failing to pay child support.

Brown was arrested outside of his home over the weekend, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office.

"Wiltrice Johnson, the mother of Brown’s daughter, Antanyiah, told TMZ that the former Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout owes close to $31,000 in child support," Fox News reported.

"A judge ruled in August that Brown missed child support payments, though there has been no movement in the case," it continued.

"Brown dated Jackson early in his NFL career and they share a daughter together," the Mirror reported.

"The former wide receiver has five other children - four sons and one other daughter. He shares four of those children with Chelsie Kyriss, who tried to seek sole custody in 2020," it added.

Brown has experienced previous issues over child support in the past. He was also arrested in April over the same charges, later paying to clear his name and be released.

The former Buccaneer has become known more for his off-the-field actions than his efforts as a player, often taking to social media to sound off on his latest news.

Brown reportedly took to Instagram ahead of the recent arrest to criticize the mother of his child as being "money hungry" while he also held a large handful of cash.

The latest move has ended with Brown in jail instead who will be forced to deal with the issue directly now that authorities have acted on behalf of the mother.
