Rep. Boebert Escorted from Theater Performance for Alleged Conduct

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has been a polarizing figure since her very first day in Congress.

The gun-toting restaurant owner took the country by storm in 2020, but her popularity has been dwindling since.

So much so, that she was kicked out of a theater during a "Beetlejuice" performance for what was allegedly inappropriate conduct.

Get Out

I have to say, when I read the report, I could not believe she was removed from the performance, especially when I read that she was laughing and singing too loud.

There were also complaints of vaping, which Boebert has denied.

Buell Theatre, where the performance was taking place, stated that she had been given multiple warnings during the intermission and that the theater had received three complaints about their conduct.

As the second act of the show started, another complaint came in that Boebert and her date were "being loud and at the time (they) were recording," reported CBS News.

Now, you can see in the video, they are just sitting there watching the show along with everyone else…

Boebert's spokesperson stated that she did take a picture at one point, not realizing that pictures and video were not allowed.

An usher at the theater stated, "They told me they would not leave. I told them that they need to leave the theater and if they do not, they will be trespassing. The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would (be) going to get Denver Police. They said 'go get them.'"

Again, if you watch the video, there is just no way that conversation took place, as Boebert and her date get up and leave almost immediately.

Now, there were clearly some words exchanged on the way out, but I can flat-out tell you, I would have been livid as well.

After the reports surfaced, Boebert confirmed she was asked to leave, but also recommended everyone to go see the show…

It seems to me that she was probably recognized by a constituent who did not like her, so they decided to make her life miserable.

I have been to dozens of shows, and I have never heard of anyone being kicked out for laughing and singing along to a show such as this.
