Eric Trump Believes His Father Will Have an Even Better Second Term

From a conservative perspective, Donald Trump had a very good first term.

We saw many of our agenda issues put into play, and were it not for COVID, I firmly believe Trump would have won in 2020.

The good news is that it appears that Trump learned some very serious lessons in term one, and now his middle son, Eric, believes this second term will be better than his father’s first.

Be Careful...

Donald Trump Jr. has always been the most vocal of the Trump children, but make no mistake about it, Eric has a lot of influence with his father.

Eric recently gave up the tapes on his father’s immediate plans as soon as he returns to the Oval Office.

He added, “I mean think about it. If he had won in 2020, we wouldn’t have the Senate like we do now. We may not have had the House either.

“He may have been stuck in this lame-duck wasteland. It’s been an incredibly difficult time getting here for him and our entire family. But he’s here now.

“They didn’t want him in 2020, and so they get him now. Be careful what you wish for.”

At the top of Trump’s to-do list: end the wars.

Eric explained, “Right now, our leaders are allowing Ukraine to shoot missiles into the heart of Russia — a nuclear power. And we’re paying for it.

“Does anyone actually think that’s a good idea? No. He wants to end the wars. He’s going to end the wars. That’s the day-one priority.”

He added, “Peace is the first goal,” Trump told The Post. “But beyond that, we have a full platform we’ve been working out, and we’re prepared to enact it very quickly. You’re going to see immigration get cracked down on.

“The walls will be built. Laws will be enforced. And our military will be rebuilt and continue to be the most lethal fighting force on the planet.

Trump’s just was just made easier on this front, with Israel already coming to a cease-fire agreement with Hezbollah.

While Biden appears to be doing everything he can to start WWIII before he leaves office, I don’t think Putin will take the bait knowing that Trump is only a few weeks away from office.

While I was very critical of a lot of the appointments Trump made the first time around, I think he is doing a much better job this time.

There are a few that concerned me, but one of them, Matt Gaetz, has already tanked, so I am feeling pretty good about how the administration is looking right now.

If I am being honest, I have not been this excited about an incoming administration in decades.
