Emhoff’s Former Staffers File New Allegations
The problems continue for Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
He has already been accused of having slapped a woman in public.
Now he is being accused of “inappropriate” and “misogynistic” behavior at work.
Allegations Piling Up
For those of you not familiar with Emhoff’s life before becoming Second Gentleman, he was a very high-priced attorney.
About a week ago, allegations surfaced that Emhoff had slapped his ex-girlfriend so hard that she “spun around.”
As is usually the case, once the first allegation is made, the floodgates open and they start to pile on.
The second wave of allegations has started, with former associates of Emhoff’s at his old firm coming forward to say that he was both “inappropriate” and “misogynistic” at work.
He allegedly held cocktail hours at work, but would only invite male staffers.
He reportedly flipped out on his secretary, screaming profanities at her and telling her to get out of his office.
Another former worker claimed he hired an “unqualified” candidate to be his secretary “because she was young, attractive and friendly with the powerful men in the office.”
This is the man the media has held up as what the example of masculinity should be in this country.
Emhoff’s office, of course, denies the allegations, but there is evidence to back some of this up.
For instance, his ex, who has only been identified as “Jane,” had travel documents and pictures, as well as several friends who she told about the beating immediately after it happened.
This is a problem for Harris because she was very vocal during the #MeToo movement about believing accusers-victims of domestic and sexual assault.
Now, this impacts her home, but, unfortunately, we have never heard how Harris feels about the latest allegations against Doug because the media refuses to ask her about them.
