"Besides misleading the public, they withheld evidence for partisan political reasons that sent people to prison for far more serious crimes than they committed," Musk wrote.
"That is deeply wrong, legally and morally," he added.

In his recent report on Jan. 6, Fox News host Tucker Carlson also told viewers that footage of Officer Brian Sicknick walking and guiding people around the building after he was attacked "overturns the single most powerful and politically useful lie that Democrats told us about January 6th."
He added: "They lied about the police officer they claimed to revere. If they were willing to do that, then their dishonesty knew no limits."

The committee was in possession of the controversial footage when its Jan. 6 report was released.
The latest video reporting on the incident is now leading to new questions about the events of the day and concerns over the committee's handling of the evidence in ways that appears to clearly deceive and mislead the public.
The information is certain to continue in headlines as the presidential campaign for 2024 heats up with former President Donald Trump's comeback bid for his old job in a potential rematch against President Joe Biden.
