Lisa Marie Presley’s Eerie Final Post

Elvis Presley fans were devastated to learn that his only child had passed this week.

Ironically her death took place during the same week of her father’s birthday, only days later, and only days after she made an appearance to celebrate him at a Graceland ceremony.

At that appearance, it was clear that Lisa Marie was not doing well, but her social media posts offer even more insight into her problems.

A Broken Woman

Presley was clearly a broken woman and deeply depressed about the loss of her son.

Benjamin Keogh took his own life on July 12, 2020. Since then, she has been in a very dark place trying to deal with his death.

Presley’s final Instagram post revealed just how dark of a place she was living.

She wrote, “Today is National Grief Awareness Day, and since I have been living in the horrific reality of its unrelenting grips since my son’s death two years ago, I thought I would share a few things to be aware of in regard to grief for anyone who is interested.

“If not to help yourself but maybe to help another who is grieving.”

The post continued, “Grief is something you will have to carry with you for the rest of your life, in spite of what certain people or our culture wants us to believe. You do not ‘get over it,’ you do not ‘move on,’ period.

“I already battle with and beat myself up tirelessly and chronically, blaming myself every single day and that’s hard enough to now live with, but others will judge and blame you too, even secretly or behind your back which is even more cruel and painful on top of everything else.”

Presley still had three daughters but as we often see in these cases, it is the lost child that takes the attention of the parent, not the living ones.

Presley clearly never healed her broken heart, and it ultimately killed her.
