There's a new person who just might throw their hat in the ring for president of the Unite States.
His identity?

It's Dwayne Johnson.
If "The Rock" is to be believed, he has apparently been approached by multiple different political parties to see if he would be interested in pursuing the position of president of the United States of America. He said:
At the end of the year in 2022, I got a visit from the parties asking me if I was going to run, and if I could run.
I totally think that The Rock could be telling the truth that BOTH political parties would be interested in seeing what he can offer, as well as some third parties as well, I would imagine.
Johnson referenced the results of a poll in 2021 that said that almost half of Americans would support him being a presidential nominee, saying that he was "really honored" and flattered by the support.
The Rock isn't dismissing the idea of running, although he hasn't yet confirmed that he's willing to do it either.
He simply said that he has a goal of uniting people and uniting our country, adding:
I do have that goal to unite our country and I also feel that if this is what the people want, then I will do that.
"That was an interesting poll that happened and I was really moved by that. I was really blown away and I was really honored," Johnson said about being asked to run for president.
