Doug Emhoff’s Ex-wife Respond to Affair Reports

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff loves to put himself on a pedestal.

To hear him talk, he is just about perfect, but that image was shattered this week when reports broke that his first marriage ended after he had an alleged affair with a nanny.

His first wife has finally broken her silence on the matter, but it turns out, she is just as brainwashed as the rest of them.

The Affair

Emhoff was married to Kerstin Emhoff from 1992 to 2008.

Somewhere along the line, the couple's nanny appears to have caught Doug’s eye, leading to an affair.

If we are to believe the report in the Daily Mail, Emhoff got the nanny pregnant and possibly forced her to have an abortion.

That second part has not yet been confirmed, but the speculation runs regarding the timeline of the nanny’s current children as well observations from when she was working for the Emhoffs.

You would think Kerstin would be furious that this report got out, but she does not want to rock the presidential boat, so she is playing the party line on this one.

Kerstin stated, "Doug and I decided to end our marriage for a variety of reasons, many years ago.

"He is a great father to our kids, continues to be a great friend to me, and I am really proud of the warm and supportive blended family Doug, Kamala, and I have built together."

When Emhoff was confronted about the report, he initially responded, "During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions.

“I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side.”

According to reports, this affair had come up during the vetting of Kamala Harris for VP, but the Biden camp managed to keep it buried during that cycle.

With Kamala now at the top of the ticket, you better believe all those skeletons are going to come falling out of the closet for both Harris and Emhoff.
