Donald Trump says Mitch McConnell is "not equipped mentally"
President Donald Trump just confirmed his thoughts on the health of Senator Mitch McConnell.
According to Trump, the 83-year-old representative is “not equipped mentally” to hold an important position in America's government.
This statement comes not long after McConnell sided with the Democrats who voted against the nomination of RFK as the new Health and Human Services secretary.
McConnell also voted against the confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard for the Director of National Intelligence.
President Trump says that when it comes to McConnell voting against his candidates, it isn’t the candidates McConnell is voting against – it is Trump himself.
“He’s not voting against Bobby (RFK Jr.). He’s voting against me,” Trump alleged.
“He's a very bitter guy. But we have a very strong party, and he's lost his power. It's affected his vote,” Trump said of McConnell.
“If I didn’t come along, the Republican Party wouldn’t even exist right now,” Trump said.
“He’s not equipped mentally. He wasn’t equipped ten years ago mentally, in my opinion. He let the Republican Party go to hell,” the president continued.
During a recent interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, Trump also went on to touch on the fact that McConnell only “had an ability to raise money because of his position as leader, which anybody could do.”
According to Breitbart News, the national debt rose to more than $35 trillion dollars under the leadership of Mitch McConnell, along with loads of other concerning issues our country is now struggling with.
As for his health issues, Breitbart News reported that McConnell’s health has been suffering for years.
On multiple instances, the Republican has appeared to "freeze" on the job.

McConnell has fallen multiple times, resulting in various injuries.
He's suffered bruising on his hand and face, a minor concussion, and has been placed in a wheelchair. McConnell’s falls have likely taken a toll on his overall health.
