DNC Starts Mass Layoffs After Disastrous Harris Campaign

The Democrat National Committee (DNC) is reeling after the massive loss by Kamala Harris in the general election.

And this is about more than just the pain of losing to Donald Trump.

Harris and Democrats are now about $20 million in the red, and the party has already started mass layoffs without severance, and it is going over about as well as coal at Christmas.

Disaster

Democrats raised a staggering $1.6 billion in three months over all outlets trying to get Harris into the White House.

They also went into the red about $20 million, surely figuring they would win and could keep fundraising for Harris’ second term, and pay their debt from that fund.

Things have not worked out very well, and now hundreds of workers are being laid off, with no severance, and they are not happy about it.

One staffer stated, “This scale of the layoffs is shocking people who have been here for a decade. People are blindsided by this…I’ve completely lost faith in the Democratic Party and I’m still working for them.”

The DNC Staff Union posted, “One day’s notice, no severance—the DNC fights for workers, just not their own.”

The union also posted a full statement on the layoffs (click here to read).

Democrats, who claim to be union people, have violated their rules among their own, and it is not going unnoticed.

Dems are also denying that the Harris campaign is in the red, even though multiple outlets have investigated this and reported it as such.

To that point, Patrick Stauffer, chief financial officer of Harris for President, claimed, “As of Election Day, there were no outstanding debts or bills overdue.”

Here is my guess…

Harris has continued to raise money under the guise of raising money for recounts. I am going to say that the money, as well as whatever the DNC can scrape up, will be used to make the Harris campaign flush by the end of the reporting cycle.

Stauffer's claim that “there will be no debt” when December filings are made backed that argument. So, if there is no debt, why not open the books right now?

The DNC also claims it did nothing wrong regarding the layoffs, stating, “Every cycle, political organizations scale up to meet the demands, and as the cycle comes to a close, it’s a tough reality of our industry that we must part with talented, hardworking staff.

“While the DNC has met the terms of the union agreement negotiated by the CBA, we share the entire DNC family’s frustration and continue to provide resources to all members of the team to support them in this transition.”

Rest assured, the Democrat Party is being exposed on many fronts during this election cycle, and it can no longer claim to be the party of the people.
