Now that Timothy Thibault is out at the FBI, all kinds of tasty tidbits are starting to surface.
Thibault was removed from the FBI in disgrace last week, with reports stating that he was walked from HQ.
The agent was assigned as the point man on the Hunter Biden probe.
If these reports are accurate, what he was really doing was hiding information.
The Big Guy
Timothy Thibault was assigned to be the point man regarding the claims made by Tony Bobulinski.
He was one of Hunter Biden's business partners before the 2020 election.
He was also the man that clarified who "the big guy" was in Hunter Biden's emails.
The only major outlets covering the story were Fox News and the New York Post, with everyone else tagging Bobulinkski as a Trump operative.
On October 23, 2020, Bobulinski was interviewed for five hours by the FBI.
The day before that interview, he had made the claim that Joe Biden was "the big guy."
Bobulinski turned over several cell phones with encrypted messages between Hunter and his business partners at the time.
All that information just disappeared, much like how the FBI treated its copy of the Hunter Biden laptop drive.
Senator Grassley penned a letter to FBI Director Wray on this several weeks ago, stating, "In October 2020, an avenue of additional derogatory Hunter Biden reporting was ordered closed at the direction of ASAC Thibault.
"It's been alleged that the FBI HQ team suggested to the FBI agents that the information was at risk of disinformation; however, according to allegations, [it] was either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants … Thibault allegedly ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason, as required by FBI guidelines [and] it's alleged that FBI officials, including ASAC Thibault, subsequently attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future."
Thibault, of course, had denied the allegations, but if that were true, why did he go on an extended leave only to be walked out of the FBI's office in disgrace last week?
This has all the makings of the agency trying to hush up a major scandal.
We have to wonder why the FBI did not pursue Bobulinski more to use him as a star witness in the case.
Bobulinski is a former US Navy officer with top-secret security clearances from the National Security Agency and the Department of Energy, so until proven otherwise, his credibility is not even a question.
If all these reports are accurate, the FBI interfered in the 2020 election by simply refusing to acknowledge this evidence.
