Hunter Biden's former business associate Devon Archer has two words for President Joe Biden's claim that he never dabbled in the foreign business deals of his son, the prostitute and drug-loving "artist."
Republicans and anyone else in America with an ounce of common sense have known this for a while, but now Democrats are going to be forced to admit it.
"He was aware of Hunter’s business, he met with Hunter’s business partners, I mean you found a letter that illustrates that he knew me," Archer told Tucker Carlson in a recently released interview.
"That’s not factually right — and in the same breath, I don’t think Joe Biden has looked at a balance sheet or, you know, a capitalization table or what have you or any financial document, probably ever," Archer added.
After Archer and Hunter Biden were appointed to the board of Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings in 2014 despite having zero qualifications in Ukraine or the energy sector, Archer said that "there was constant pressure to send signals to leverage all of his — his dad included, but the Biden brand, all of the D.C. insider relationships to help Burisma survive."
Archer said flat-out that that was the only reason Burisma hired Hunter.
They believed that access to America's then-vice president would be the thing to save them.
Burisma had been fighting allegations of corruption for a while, that's why they hired Hunter Biden.
"That was the idea of Burisma hiring Hunter. It was that ability to help on the geopolitical stage keep them out of trouble, keep them out of investigations, unfreeze assets, unsuccessfully unfreeze visas."
"It was an absolute shock that’s perpetuated this, you know, kind of nightmare that I’ve been living for the last couple years," Archer said of his time dealing with the Biden family. "It’s just led to, you know, just incessant and never-ending media fodder that brings me back in."
