DeSantis’ Silence Speaks Volumes Amid Trump Attacks

Ron DeSantis is sending Donald Trump a very loud message, only it is not with words.

DeSantis has made no inkling that he is running for office yet.

Even so, Trump has been blasting him and insulting his performance as the governor of Florida.

Silence Says It All

Trump just about lost his mind when DeSantis skipped around the question of running for president.

Trump believes that the entire Republican Party owes him a debt and that if he runs, the rest of the field should remain clear.

His response to DeSantis not committing to not running was, "And now, Ron DeSanctimonious is playing games!

"The Fake News asks him if he's going to run if President Trump runs, and he says, 'I'm only focused on the Governor's race, I'm not looking into the future.

"Well, in terms of loyalty and class, that's really not the right answer."

DeSantis has yet to say a word, which actually speaks volumes.

He is telling Trump in no uncertain terms, you are not worth my time any longer.

The more Trump rants, the more support he loses, and the more DeSantis' profile increases, probably to the point that party leadership asks him to run.

I have only one question for Trump… if he is so confident his poll numbers are so high and he will crush everyone, why is he so upset about the possibility of DeSantis running against him.

This has gotten to the point of key members of Trump's camp threatening DeSantis in veiled words.

For instance, Roger Stone, a complete and utter whacko who Trump continues to keep close said if DeSantis runs, it will be "a treacherous act of disloyalty."

"Treacherous?"

Trump's attorneys have warned DeSantis, Trump has warned DeSantis, even Lara Trump has warned DeSantis against running.

This is America, is it not? We do not have royalty here, which means anyone that wants to run, can, regardless of who has declared.

I supported Trump in 2016 and defended him throughout his presidency and beyond.

This recent behavior, however, is repulsive.

Everyone on the right supported Ron DeSantis up until about a week ago when Trump threw a fit.

Now, many of Trump's loyal supporters are talking just as much smack against DeSantis as Trump is, shredding what little unity we had in this party.

Even if he runs and somehow wins, Trump is only four years of this party. Ron DeSantis is probably the next two decades, and you want to end him because Trump is afraid of him running?

And don't dare say he isn't because he would not be spitting venom at DeSantis if he was not worried.

Prove you are the better man and take on all comers because that, my friend, IS the American way.
