There is a major concern on the right regarding content that is being pushed on children.
More specifically, there is concern about children attending sexually suggestive drag show events.
Many of these events have been touted as family-friendly, but from the videos I have seen, children should not be attending these events.
Time to Investigate
On Tuesday, DeSantis' office announced that it would be investigating a drag show that was touted as a Christmas event for allegedly exposing children to "sexualized acts."
The event in question was held at the Broward Center of the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale.
It was part of a national tour called "A Drag Queen Christmas."
The Floridian reported that numerous sexually provocative expressions and content were used during the show.
Bryan Griffin, press secretary for DeSantis, stated, "The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) is aware of multiple complaints about a sexually explicit performance marketed to children held in Fort Lauderdale on December 26th.
"The Department is actively investigating this matter, including video footage and photographs from the event. DPBR will, like in other cases, take action.
"Exposing children to sexually explicit activity is a crime in Florida, and such action violates the Department's licensing standards for operating a business and holding a liquor license."
Thank you to those who flagged the event for us. Please see the following statement: pic.twitter.com/D8N8a6SPNa

DeSantis has been selling family values and anti-wokeness over the second half of his administration.
Once he kicked COVID's butt, he went after the woke crowd with the same zeal, and it is paying off.
DeSantis, who barely won his initial election, was re-elected in a landslide, turning forever blue parts of Florida bright red.
Whether the entire right wants to admit it or not, this is the man that we need at the top of the ticket in 2024 if we want to crush Democrats to take back the House and Senate.
