DeSantis Says Rep. Ilhan Omar Should Be Deported

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) recently gave a speech at an event that raised a of eyebrows.

In her speech, she noted that she is working to protect Somalia from within the United States government.

She even went so far as to say that was her primary job, which drew outrage, immense outrage, from those on the right.

America Last

Here is the speech by Omar, with translation at the bottom of the screen…

Governor Ron DeSantis responded almost immediately, posting, “Expel from Congress, denaturalize, and deport!”

He was far from the only Republican commenting on the matter, with virtually every comment expressing outrage over her stance that she was Somalian first and her priority in Congress was to protect Somalia from within the United States government.

That is not her job, however.

As a U.S. congresswoman, her main job is to represent the people of her district in Minnesota.

Now, there is nothing wrong with her supporting Somalia personally, or even taking an interest in Somalia in terms of U.S. policy, but her loyalties are supposed to lie with the United States.

When she is making policy, even as it pertains to Somalia, it is the interests of the United States and its citizens that come first.

That speech that she gave is basically an admission that she is violating her oath taken when she was sworn into office.

DeSantis and everyone else that criticized her for these remarks is dead on.

You have probably read this from me before, but the new motto of this administration and the Democrat Party should be America Last.

Virtually everything Biden has done since taking office has made this country weaker on both the domestic and foreign fronts.

Then we have people like Omar in Congress who are clearly interested in protecting other nations ahead of our own.

Yet, for some reason, they keep getting elected to office because Democrat voters are brainwashed to pull the handle for everyone with a D next to their name.
