Ron DeSantis has revealed to America the reason why he so desperately wants to become this country's next president:
"I'm running to reverse the decline of this country," DeSantis recently said.
The current governor of Florida visited the state of Utah on Friday in order to attend a fundraiser hosted by Utah Senate President Stuart Adams.
While there, DeSantis made a loud declaration that he is determined to get into the White House in order to deliver America "a new birth of freedom."
Several prominent state leaders appeared at the press conference in which DeSantis delivered his remarks.
DeSantis talked about a number of his campaign priorities.
A few of the things that he said he really wanted to do included reversing the decline of America's economy, securing America's border, demanding accountability from both politicians and voters alike, restoring the military to its proper function and away from woke nonsense, and restoring integrity to America's constitutional system. DeSantis said:
I am not content with just simply managing the decline of this country a little bit better than the Democrats. I'm running for president because I want to reverse the decline of our country. I want to give this country a new birth of freedom, and together we are going to be able to get that done.
DeSantis then proceeded to give Joe Biden and his federal minions a real tongue-lashing:
We know we need to go in a much different direction than we have with Bidenomics. I mean, think about a working family -- interest rates are high, it's hard to afford a home; automobiles are as expensive as they've ever been; price of groceries, all the necessities have gone up dramatically, just in the last few years - that is not a recipe for success for people to realize the American dream.
