Department Of Defense Uses Emergency Declaration To Sell Tank Cartridges Without Consulting Congress

Joe Biden's administration is COMPLETELY bypassing congressional rules, the Pentagon announced on Dec. 9.

There's only one way that they were able to get it done:

An "emergency declaration."

Biden had to utilize the Arms Export Control Act, which "authorizes the president to control the import and export of defense articles and services."

"The Secretary of State determined and provided detailed justification to Congress that an emergency exists that requires the immediate sale to the Government of Israel of the above defense articles and services in the national security interests of the United States, thereby waiving the Congressional review requirements under Section 36(b) of the Arms Export Control Act, as amended," said a release from the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.

"The United States is committed to the security of Israel, and it is vital to U.S. national interests to assist Israel to develop and maintain a strong and ready self-defense capability. This proposed sale is consistent with those objectives," the release continued.

Whenever money or goods rushed out of America by our federal government, there's usually less than scrupulous things on the horizon.

I'm not saying that's the case in this situation, but if there was nothing to hide, Biden and his team should have given Congress a fair chance to read and vote.

Sure, the package seems harmless at first glance, as most of us are pretty sure that Israel are the good guys.

However, we need to check in on even things that sound good for two reasons.

1) The devil is in the details. Until you know every bit of fine print from this deal, you don't REALLY know what this deal is saying.

2) It sets a precedent for the future. Now that Biden has gotten away with a deal like this once, he may think this means he can do it again in the future with more devious plans.

Just like his family's criminal trials, Joe Biden is expecting special treatment for his family and friends just because of his last name and position.
