White House Counsel Departing Amid GOP Investigations

When the going gets tough, it would appear that most of Joe Biden's top allies bail.

The latest being White House counsel Stuart Delery.

It was announced on Thursday that Delery had turned in his resignation and would be departing the administration in September, reported the New York Times.

See Ya, Joe

Over the last few months, Joe Biden has had a string of resignations that are not exactly ideal.

We have seen some key positions depart, this being no exception. With Biden staring down the barrel of some serious legal problems, Delery is arguably the last person that he could afford to lose right now.

Delery has been with Biden since the transition team was put in place in November 2020, serving as Joe's Deputy Counsel. When Dana Remus left, Delery became the top dog.

During the departure announcement, Biden stated, "From his work during those early days of COVID-19 and efforts to get life-saving vaccines to the American public to the implementation of major legislative accomplishments such as the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the Inflation Reduction Act, he has been an integral part of my team and will be missed throughout the Administration," reported Fox News.

Joe Biden did not announce who they have in mind to replace Delery once he departs.

As noted above, this could not come at a worse time for Biden.

The GOP has kicked it into high gear, linking Biden to significant payments as well as figuring out Biden's allegedly pseudonym for when Hunter and his buddies were talking business.

And don't forget, there is still the investigation going on regarding Joe Biden's mishandling of classified information, although I would not be expecting anything to come from that.

My guess is that Merrick Garland has ordered the investigators to hold their report until after the primary is over, then announce that Biden did nothing wrong, which will allow him to defuse any allegations made by the GOP when Biden starts lobbing bombs at Trump and his indictments.

It's all rigged, my friends, and they are trying to stack the deck for Old Man Joe.
