DENIED: Judge Says No to Hunter Biden Delay Request

It would appear that Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, has been caught with his pants down, figuratively speaking.

Judge Maryellen Noreika just shot down a request by Lowell to delay Hunter’s case.

Noreika said no, and the case will now move forward on June 3.

Penciled In

Noreika had previously checked dates with both sides to ensure they would be available in June.

There were no scheduling issues at the time, and June 3 was selected as the trial's start date.

Lowell, in his motion, argued that he thought that date had only been penciled in, not that it was locked in.

He then told the judge that they could not properly prepare this case in just two weeks, especially in terms of locking down witnesses for Hunter.

His pleas fell on deaf ears, as Noreika saw no reason for this trial to be delayed.

The reason Lowell is having problems getting a witness is twofold.

First, with the case being so high-profile their testimony will be seen by the entire nation, which is something to consider when you look at the defense that Lowell is presenting, which is the second reason.

Lowell is trying to find an expert who will claim all the national attention given to Hunter was the reason for his addiction and crimes, which is utterly ridiculous.

Prosecutor Derek Hines stated, “It’s written in his memoir, he was in active addiction.

“I don’t know what expert they can find who will say he wasn’t. I think that’s the issue they’re having.”

Biden has tried to have this case dismissed because of his addiction, but that effort also fell flat, even though Lowell does not appear to be done chasing that tail just yet.

Hunter is facing charges for having falsified documents when he purchased the weapon.

He has been charged with three felonies and six misdemeanors in total, including his tax evasion case, which is also scheduled for June, but only later in the month.

While I would love to see Hunter sent to jail, as I dream of the tears rolling down his face as he is led away, selling out his father in the process, I don’t expect anything more than fines and supervised release for Biden since this is, technically, his first offense.
