Dems Claim Immunity Ruling Will Let President’s Go After Political Opponents… It Will Not

I feel like I am living through Ground Hog Day right now.

Story after story is hitting the wire from liberal Supreme Court justices and Democrats that are just flat-out wrong regarding the presidential immunity ruling by the Supreme Court.

To that point, Democrats are now going full steam ahead with the narrative that the ruling would allow a sitting president to go after his or her political opponent, but that is just blatantly false.

Lies and Misinformation

It is a sad day when our publication is literally one of the few publications, and I can count the mainstream media in on this, that is trying to tell the truth about these rulings.

The dissenting opinions by the liberal justices were an absolute disgrace and worse, extremely misleading and blatant fearmongering.

Democrats and talking heads in the media have latched on to Sotomayor’s narrative that Donald Trump would use SEAL Team 6 to take out a political rival.

This is typical of the garbage being spewed right now…

Rest assured, that will not happen, EVER, and there is no way and military commander in our armed forces would ever execute such an order.

To give you an idea of how ridiculous this was, just look at one section of Sotomayor’s dissent, which, in part, stated, “When he uses his official powers in any way, under the majority’s reasoning, he now will be insulated from criminal prosecution. Orders the Navy’s Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival? Immune.

“Organizes a military coup to hold onto power? Immune. Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon? Immune. Immune, immune, immune.

“Let the President violate the law, let him exploit the trappings of his office for personal gain, let him use his official power for evil ends.”

That entire statement is complete and utter garbage.

Honestly, I have lost so much respect for so many people over this ruling, and that includes people on the right who are portraying this as a massive win for Trump, because it is not.

The ONLY cases this may impact are the Georgia RICO case and possibly the documents case, but both of those rely on the interpretation of Trump’s actions by the court. It will not impact the January 6 case, and it will not impact the New York fraud case, at least not in the way that is being portrayed right now.

Let me be very clear here… this ruling only solidified what we already knew, and that is official acts done in the execution of the office of the president are immune, not rogue acts or acts that would be categorized as actions of a personal nature.

A sitting president cannot go on a murder streak, accept bribes, steal things, etc., as there will still be criminal prosecutions for such matters.

It is beyond frustrating that both sides are using an extreme interpretation of this ruling to suit their needs rather than just being honest with the American people.

This is exactly why nobody trusts the media or politicians these days.
