Democrats don't want Trump to have security if he's sent to jail
As evidenced by the fact that liberals keep denying Donald Trump's gag order removal request, it's become pretty obvious that they are desperate to send Donald Trump to jail in order to hinder his chances at winning the 2024 Presidential Election.
If liberals ARE lucky enough to get Donald Trump sent to prison, they want to strip Donald Trump of his security detail once he gets there.
I'm sure nothing bad could happen to one of the most important men in the world if he's left without his security detail, just ask Jeffrey Epstein.
Rational-minded people are worried that such a VIP NEEDS to be properly protected, even if they are being sent to prison.
Democratic House Homeland Security Committee ranking member Bennie Thompson of Mississippi is one of the people leading the charge for removing Trump's security.
He's pushing the "DISGRACED Former Protectees Act" that would "take away Secret Service protection for Trump, or any other person qualifying for it, if they are convicted of a crime and sent to prison."
Bennie Thompson defended his proposal by saying, "Republicans have made a lot of hay about the bill, saying it’s about former President Trump and would take away his security — that just is not true. The bill doesn’t mention former Trump, President Trump, and it would not have affected security at this tragic event."
If Bennie Thompson isn't lying here, he's at least being dishonest.
We're not saying Trump needs security at his rally, and Bennie Thompson knows that.
Yes, there absolutely should have been more competent security at the rally, but that moment has already passed.
What we're talking about now is making sure that Donald Trump is safe if he is sent to jail, which is EXACTLY what Bennie Thompson's bill is designed to make sure doesn't happen.
Please pray for the safety of Donald Trump, regardless of what happens to him.
