Democratic National Committee Releases Song Blasting Trump's Daughter-in-Law
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) launched a "summer party anthem" on Friday aimed at Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC).
The song, created by artificial intelligence, takes jabs at Trump's leadership of the RNC, with lyrics like "You’re running the RNC, but it’s a sad song" and "Fundraising’s low, can’t meet the mark."

Its pop-style chorus includes lines such as: "Oh Lara, Lara, what have you done? (what have you one?) / The party’s fallin’ down, it’s no longer fun."
"Oh Lara, Lara, can’t you see? (can’t you see?) / Your leadership’s sinking Trump’s GOP."
DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison stated that the song was released in response to Lara Trump's own music endeavor, "Anything is Possible," a piano-driven ballad she recorded during the winter.
"Lara Trump’s 'music career' mirrors her time at the RNC: embarrassing, unserious, and wasteful," Harrison remarked. "We wanted to help Lara tell her own story about how she and her fellow MAGA extremists at the RNC are financially struggling and losing elections."
Trump, daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, assumed her RNC leadership role earlier this month following the resignation of former chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
Trump's recently released song included a much more inspiring set of lyrics focused on overcoming adversity in life.
“Even when it’s getting hard in this hurricane life, you still gotta spread your wings and fly,” the Trump daughter-in-law sings in the song.
“Don’t think, just jump. You can’t give up. Know that anything is possible. Have faith, believe, just trust, you’ll see, anything is possible. I’ve had my ups and downs, cried when no one’s around. Still gotta put my game face on, even when I’m not feeling strong. No matter how it seems, I wouldn’t trade a thing, ’cause all of it makes me who I am," the song continues.
She is married to Eric Trump, an executive vice president at the Trump Organization and the second son of the former president and his late ex-wife, Ivana Trump.
