Democrat caught lying about Tulsi Gabbard
If you've ever heard speculation that the people of America just can't trust Democrats in this country to tell the truth, those rumors have just been CONFIRMED.
Mouaz Moustafa, who Breitbart calls an "Adam Kinzinger lackey," has been pushing lies about Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump's pick for Director of National Intelligence.
Moustafa made the comments during a recent interview with Politico, who uncritically published his rant in full.
Mouaz Moustafa, who is the executive director of the advocacy group Syrian Emergency Task Force, suggested that he would no longer be willing to work with the American government if Gabbard is confirmed to her position as Director of National Intelligence.
With little evidence to back it up, Moustafa threatened that other countries would stop sharing intel with America as well.
"If Tulsi Gabbard is running our intelligence services, France, U.K., Australia… if I was them, I wouldn’t share intelligence with us," Moustafa said.
Moustafa also claimed to have spoken with members of Congress about Gabbard, and "came away increasingly concerned that her aims and worldview were at odds with the U.S. mission in Syria and U.S. foreign policy more broadly."
He was also very concerned about what he calls Tulsi Gabbard showing "nothing but support for Assad," the former leader of Syria.
Moustafa said that when meeting with a "couple of little girls who were burned head to toe, whose family was killed by Assad and Russian airstrikes," Gabbard asked the children, "'How do you know it was Assad and Russia, not ISIS?'"
If that news got back to Donald Trump, the President-elect must have been STUNNED. That's because the recollection is completely false.
Alexa Henning, a Trump transition spokesperson, verified that the alleged interaction never happened.
Moustafa's account was "100 percent false," Henning said.
"Lt. Col. Gabbard’s views have been shaped by her military service and multiple deployments to war zones where she’s seen the cost of war and who ultimately pays the price," Henning added. "She is 100 percent aligned with President Trump’s peace through strength, American First vision, which is why the American people overwhelmingly elected him president."
Do you think that Tulsi Gabbard was a good pick by Trump? Or is Moustafa right about her?
