Rep. Jamaal Bowman Demands ‘Leadership’ Over Migrant Crisis in NY

I still laugh every time I read one of these reports about New York officials getting upset over the number of migrants that have been sent to New York.

Texas sees more migrants in a week than New York has seen in total, yet now virtually every Democrat in office is ringing the bell and calling out Biden.

That would now include Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) who, until now, has been as quiet as a church mouse, reported the Daily Mail.

Making Us Look Bad

Bowman is not really worried about the migrants, so let's get that clear right now.

His concern is in Democrats "looking bad" and staying in power.

On the migrant crisis in the state, Bowman stated, "I mean, we need leadership from President Biden — period. We need that leadership in New York State because New York State is struggling. We're struggling to provide housing and all the support that the migrants need.

"Here's the thing — Democrats are looking bad right now in New York state and that's unacceptable when we have to win at least four congressional seats to take back the House, so hopefully the president is listening," reported the Washington Examiner.

Democrats are targeting Reps. Nick LaLota (R-N.Y.), George Santos (R-N.Y.), Anthony D'Esposito (R-N.Y.), Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.), Marc Molinaro (R-N.Y.), and Brandon Williams (R-N.Y.) in the 2024 election.

It was on the back of New York that the GOP took the House in 2022, as the rest of the country was quite disappointing in terms of turning seats.

New York being what it is, I doubt we can count on those seats staying all red unless we can expose the problems that Democrats have created in New York as well as put up a better showing in the states where we failed in 2022.
