Dem Who Demanded Police Defunding Praises Officers After Carjacking

Just a short while ago, this Democrat was planning on doing way more than DEFUNDING America's police.

They were trying to DISMANTLE America's police.

If you ask me, dismantling is even more menacing than defunding, so this was a pretty serious assertion.

Shivanthi Sathanandan, the second vice chair of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labour Party (DFL), is most famous for being one of America's most aggressive leaders when talking about the defund-the-police movement that happened in 2020.

As most Americans were stuck in their houses by order of the federal government, liberals were out rioting and looting the streets in the name of Black Lives Matter.

Since it would not have been appropriate to just let these people destroy cities, businesses, and homes for no reason, liberals made up an excuse for them.

Cries like BLACK LIVES MATTER and DEFUND THE POLICE became short and snappy justifications for why America's cities needed to burn.

Back then, Sathanandan was on the front line of the movement.

Now, she's singing a different tune.

Why? Because she herself ended up needed police assistance after being the victim of a carjacking.

Sathanandan posted a picture of her bloodied face on Facebook recently and added a caption that made her sound like a hero:

This is the face of a mother who just had the s--- beaten out of her. A mother whose only thought was, ‘let me run far enough and fight hard enough so that my kids have a chance to get away’. My son was wailing for someone to come help because bad guys are murdering his Mama in the backyard.

Rules for thee, not for me.

Sathanandan wanted to defund the police. Until she ended up needing them.
