Joe Biden and Democrats just took a shot across the bow in Joe's home state.
Democrats want mail-in voting for everyone, for any reason.
We know from past elections that this is where fraud is most likely to occur.
Delaware currently has a new no-excuse mail-in voting law on the books.
Vice Chancellor Nathan Cook says they all need to pump the brakes, as this goes against that nuisance called the Constitution.
Can't Do It
Cook, in his decision, stated, "Our Supreme Court and this court have consistently stated that those circumstances are exhaustive.
"Therefore, as a trial judge, I am compelled by precedent to conclude that the vote-by-mail statute's attempt to expand absentee voting ... must be rejected."
He did, however, uphold the same-day voter registration law.
Julianne Murray, an attorney for plaintiffs, was happy with the outcome.
She stated, "He started on the Constitutional Convention of 1897 and worked his way through."
Jane Brady, a retired judge and former Delaware attorney general, also on the plaintiff's side, stated, "I believe that the legislature has known from day one that they needed a constitutional amendment to do this.
"In my view, they abdicated their responsibility."
During COVID, we saw several states take some liberties in the name of the health crisis to bend the rules on voting, and now they are all getting reined back in.
