Defense Attorney Ready to Show Proof of Willis Affair

Last week, salacious allegations were made against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Michael Roman, one of the co-defendants named in the Donald Trump election suit in Georgia, made the allegations that Willis was inappropriately involved in a relationship with one of her prosecutors.

Willis has since countered that the allegations were racially motivated.

Pulling the Race Card

Willis’ claim that the allegations against her were racially motivated made no sense at all.

In response to the affair allegations, she responded, “Isn’t it them playing the race card when they constantly think I need someone from some other jurisdiction in some other state to tell me how to do a job I’ve been doing almost 30 years?”

Defense attorney Ashleigh Merchant, who is representing Roman, tried to clear all this up.

Merchant is the attorney that filed the motion on Roman’s behalf that alleged the affair as well as saying that Nathan Wade, the prosecutor mentioned, was romantically involved with Willis.

Wade has billed Fulton County more than $625,000 in a single year, but he was still reportedly dipping into a household fund that was set up for his estranged wife, Jocelyn Wade.

Jocelyn has reportedly subpoenaed Willis in the divorce proceedings about the alleged affair.

Defending her motion, Merchant stated, “I would never have filed something like this if I didn’t have multiple sources to corroborate.”

She added, “We look forward to litigating this motion in court where we can bring forward all of our evidence.”

Fulton County District Attorney’s Office spokesman Jeff DiSantis responded, “We look forward to addressing the matter.”

Donald Trump has since called for the case against him to be dismissed, claiming that Willis has been compromised.

Legal experts have already chimed in, stating that it will be difficult to prove both that Wade was not qualified as well as if the relationship had anything at all to do with the charges made against Trump and his fellow co-defendants.

However, they have also agreed that regardless of that, the optics of this are horrific for Willis.
