Texas sees anywhere from 6,000 to 8,000 illegal immigrant encounters every day.
Joe Biden is releasing about 25 percent of them, most of which are hitting the ground in Texas and Arizona.
Governor DeSantis sent 50 illegals from Florida to Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts.
Now local officials are declaring a humanitarian crisis in the area.
Are They Kidding?
Martha's Vineyard is loaded with money, yet now local officials want federal money to help them with their crisis.
A county emergency-management rep stated, "We have reached out to our State and Federal partners for additional and long-term support and assistance."
Town Administrator Jennifer Rand stated that she is receiving "furious texts" from residents, which I do not understand.
These are all the people advocating for illegal immigrants in this country, but now that they are in their backyard, it is a different story.
Rand stated, "I'm a little unclear about the situation, as is everybody, because everybody is scrambling a bit."
Lisa Belcastro, the Martha's Vineyard homeless shelter coordinator, added, "At some point in time they have to move from here to somewhere else.
"We cannot, we do not, have the services to take care of 50 immigrants."
Doesn't Obama have a $12 million estate on the island? Can't he open his doors and let them all stay there?
Belcastro added, "We're in a housing crisis as we are on this island.
"So we don't, we can't, house everyone here that lives here and works here."
A Twitter user offered some help, stating, "A quick Air BNB search came up with 297 homes currently available. I'm sure they have a lot of empty summer homes avilable [sic]."
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had a great quip, stating, "You know, these are all sanctuary cities until they're in their sanctuary."
He hit the nail on the head.
It is easy to advocate until it's time to contribute, then the game changes rather quickly.
