Newlywed Wife Decapitated by Husband

Texas authorities came upon a rather disturbing discovery… the decapitated body of a 21-year-old Hispanic woman.

Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry found her body in her home, only the head was not there.

They have since arrested and charged her husband, Jared Dicus, 21, for her murder.

Horrifying Crime

The couple had only been married for about four months when Anggy Diaz was murdered.

On the discovery of the body, Sheriff Guidry stated, “It was a portion of a body, dismembered, and a residence that was covered in blood — a gruesome scene, at best.”

Dicus has reportedly confessed to the murder already.

The young couple was living in a small cottage behind the home of Dicus’ parents. It was his family that called authorities to the home on Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, Diaz was probably killed the night before around 11 p.m.

When police did find her head, they also found the knife that is believed to be the murder weapon.

The relationship was apparently a bit fragile, with the Sheriff stating, “There have been prior calls, disturbance-wise, but nothing to this effect, to this level of violence.”

According to police, Diaz was an undocumented immigrant and a Nicaraguan citizen.

Her social media posts did not reflect any issues with the marriage, only showing fitness posts and photos of the young couple together.

There is still no information regarding the motive for the murder, but I would imagine that Dicus will give that information to the police now that he has confessed.
