Dean Phillips Floats Idea of Being a Republican

During the Democrat primary race, voters did have a choice.

They could have gone with Joe Biden, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., or Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN)

They chose Biden, then the party dumped him, and it now sounds like Phillips is fed up with Dems.

Gaslighting Champions

In listening to the speeches by the top Democrats this week, it was like a master course in gaslighting.

Former President Barack Obama lauded Joe Biden, saying that Biden dropped out for the good of the country and it was the right thing to do.

Actually, it was unprecedented and arguably unconstitutional, especially regarding how Harris was anointed and gifted the nomination.

Phillips ran against Biden to give voters the alternative they were asking for.

Justifying his run, Phillips stated, “By October of last year, recognizing nobody would do it and the numbers were getting worse and worse, I knew this was going to have to be a conversation we had when, not if, and I decided, ‘If no one else will, I’ll do it myself.'

“And that’s when the mission started, and my colleagues were awfully surprised and aghast, some publicly, some more privately [and] some, some very encouraging.

“But I did what you’re not supposed to do, which is to take on an incumbent.”

I now believe this was probably the Democrat plan all along… run Joe, and if he is polling weakly, remove him before the convention and slip someone else in there “for the good of the country.”

Phillips was clearly upset with the party for helping to block his run, all but handing Biden the primary nomination.

Now, however, he is talking a different tune, suggesting that he should be a Republican.

Now, there are few Democrats who would admit that about Donald Trump supporters.

They are all supposed to be racist, hateful people, and the case was made this week by Barack Obama and Michelle Obama on the DNC stage.

Like I said… these people are gaslighting the entire country but people like Dean Phillips are finally starting to get it.
