The only child of the only real "King" this country has ever known is dead.
Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of singing legend Elvis Presley, has passed away.
She looked very frail during her last appearance, and those concerns became a reality this week when she was passed away.
She was only 54 years old.
Tragedy Too Much
When Lisa Marie Presley's son committed suicide, it took something from her.
It was something that she was unable to fix or replace, and it took its toll over the last two years.
Her last public appearance was to celebrate the birthday of her dead father at Graceland.
Elvis would have been 88 years old.
As you can see in the video below, which was taken only days before she passed, she was quite frail and looked sickly…
The tributes came pouring in upon news of her passing, making it clear that she had touched just as many people as her father during her time on this earth.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, John Travolta, Leah Remini… and the list goes on and on.
Travolta wrote, "Lisa baby girl, I'm so sorry. I'll miss you but I know I'll see you again. My love and heart goes out to Riley, Priscilla, Harper and Finley."
Remini tweeted, "I'm heartbroken over the passing of Lisa Marie Presley.
"Lisa did not have an easy life, as some might think. May she be at peace, resting with her son and father now. Her mom Priscilla and her three daughters, Riley, Finley, and Harper, are in my prayers."
Leann Rimes added, "Lisa Marie Presley… how heartbreaking. I hope she is at peace in her dad's arms. My heart goes out to her family. Too much grief in just a couple of years."
She definitely had a bit of her father in her pipes…
Rest in peace, Lisa, for you were taken far too soon.
