Daughter of Wynonna Judd Arrested

The Judd family is back in the news, but this is not something for which they want to be known.

Grace Pauline Kelley, the daughter of country star Wynonna Judd, has been arrested.

According to Albemarle County police, Kelley was arrested on October 27 for having allegedly stolen a vehicle that belonged to a Charlottesville Church.

It’s Not Yours

Local police have stated that the 28-year-old stole a Chevrolet Yukon that was the property of the Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene.

Pastor Kent Hart stated, “It looked to me like she could have been high, like she didn’t really seem like she was completely in her right mind.”

He added, “I’m talking to my daughter, and I look out the window and I see the van leaving my house.”

Hart then started to chase the van down the road, saying, “I’m like, ‘You stole my van, get out of my van,’ beating on the door.

“And at this point, I see her very clearly. I saw her buzz cut and face tattoo.”

According to Hart, Kelley took off in the van, but she was eventually located by police, who made a traffic stop on Massie Branch Lane, which is when Kelley was taken into custody.

Police Officer Corey Legg reported, “Grace advised that a male suspect had exited the driver seat and ran into the woods.

“She began stating she had sold her soul to the devil.

“I advised the jail staff that she may have taken something. I was later informed that the jail staff observed something inside of Ms. Kelley during her body scan.”

Bloodwork was done, revealing that Kelley had heroin in her system.

Kelley’s case will be heard on January 2 at the Albemarle General District Court.

According to court documents, she will be represented by a public defender, so there will be no high-priced attorney sucking up the family fortune to defend Kelley.
