Court Sets Date for Fani Willis Disqualification

Donald Trump will have his day in court to have Fulton County DA Fani Willis disqualified from the case.

But I am sure that Willis is not happy with the date set by the court.

According to recent reports, the court date is set for December 5, a full month after the presidential election takes place.

Sorry, Fani

We all know that Willis wanted to get this case into the courtroom before the election, but the court date for the disqualification hearing means that will never happen.

So, the Teflon Don has done it again, avoiding yet another felony prosecution before it can impact the outcome of the election.

Steve Sadow, lead attorney for Trump, stated, "The brief persuasively argues that the trial court should have dismissed the case and disqualified DA Willis for her forensic misconduct and the appearance of impropriety between her and former Special Assistant DA Wade, who was her lover and taxpayer-funded financial benefactor.

"We are optimistic that the Court will favorably decide the appeal in our favor."

The brief referred to by Sadow argues, "Should a prosecutor be disqualified for intentionally and repeatedly violating ethical and professional canons to prejudice defendants for personal or political gain? Yes.

"Is disqualification necessary when a prosecutor testifies falsely, conceals misconduct, and creates ‘an odor of mendacity’ that results in a ‘significant appearance of impropriety?’ Undoubtedly so.

“If this prosecutor deflects attention from her misconduct by claiming on national television that the defendants are dishonest racists for bringing the truthful accusations to light, could anyone have confidence in the impartiality of the prosecutor’s actions? Absolutely not.”

Willis had tried to block the appeal, but the court clearly did not buy her argument that this was only another effort for Trump to delay the prosecution of the case.

Willis put herself into this position by having an affair with one of her prosecutors as well as allegedly misusing funds for office swag rather than its intended use as outlined by the grant.

I think Trump has a really good chance of having her tossed off the case and if that happens, something tells me these charges will fade into the sunset.
