It turns out, people other than white people can actually be racist.
A top Democrat in CA made the mistake of going on a racist rant against one of her fellow Democrats.
The rant, which took place last year, was leaked, and now she has been forced to step down from her position.

LA City Council President Nury Martinez said some pretty disgusting things about a fellow Democrat and city council member.
Councilmember Mike Bonin has an adopted black son.
Apparently, Martinez does not like the way he is raising the boy.
During a discussion about district redrawing with Councilmembers Gil Cedillo and Kevin de León and L.A. County Federation of Labor President Ron Herrera, she went off about Bonin's son.
She stated, "They're raising him like a little White kid.
"I was like, 'This kid needs a beatdown.
"Let me take him around the corner and then I'll bring him back.'"
She also called the boy an "ese changuito," Spanish for "that little monkey."

Martinez resigned from her post on Monday.
